PatchSA estimates that at least a million children in South Africa are eligible for palliative care, with less than 5% able to access it.
#HatsOn4CPC is celebrated around the world annually on the 2nd Friday of October with the aim of raising public awareness of the need for more equitable provision of hospice and palliative care services for children.
